Geena davis is an American actress that has been the movie's star for more than fifty years. Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice star and actor in Mensa who has appeared on Stuart Little. The actress was nominated for an Golden Globe Award nominee for her character Dottie hinson on A League of Their Own. In 1988, she won the Academy Award Best Supporting actor for Muriel pritchett's role in The Accidental Tourist. She had a character in the American horror-comedy Beetlejuice that was produced and directed by Tim Burton. Virginia Elizabeth Geena Davis was born on the 21st of January 1955. She is an American actor as well as an activist. Davis is well-known for her TV and film acting. Davis has also received praise for playing genuine, strong women and also for her role as an advocate for women within the world of entertainment. From an early age Davis began to be interested in the world of music. At the age of teenager, she had learned the organ and piano. Davis was an undergraduate at Wareham High School, and she spent a year during the year in Sweden for an exchange. Then she became proficient in Swedish. New England College was her initial stop, before Boston University awarded Davis a diploma in drama in 1979. Her early childhood was spent in Concord, California. When she was a kid she dreamed of becoming an elite soccer player. Unfortunately in 2002 when she was in her final year of high school, she injured her ankle. She was able to recover and continue playing soccer as a forward at Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill California. In the college, she was awarded her associate's degree. She received Junior College All-American honors and moved to Arizona State University where self-doubt was the reason she decided to end her playing soccer. After that, she attended California State University Fullerton where she graduated with an MBA degree with a minor in Human Resources and the Bachelor's degree. After her studies, she moved into Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting modeling and promotional work. When she was searching for a new job, she found an advertisement for casting at W.W.E. In the end, after impressing talent scouts she was offered a 4 week trial period. She then moved from the city of her birth to Orlando Florida, where the Performance Center was located.
